Testimonial by dad Craig:
Lukas has been playing football for as long as he has been able to kick a ball and is besotted with the game. I feel he has talent that if coached well and in the right environment could go far. I have been told on a few occasions through whispers on the touchline that “scouts were in attendance” at our games but never confirmed. I reached out to the team at PROSPKT after looking for trials online and they were great from the off. They discussed with me my thoughts but were keen to hear it from Lukas as well always staying in good communication and with clear advice and goals every step of the way. We agreed a date and shared my goals and the Scout was allocated. On doing some research, it was pleasing to find out easily online that this individual has been scouting for quite some time with premier league clubs and has managed in the football league himself exactly what had been promised on the previous contact. Something that was a dark art and almost a myth was now in my control rather than a guessing game.
On the day it was very discreet but professional, I met the scout away from the pitch to avoid a fuss and it was great to hear his background and find out that he was just a very normal person something you assume different in football but with an expert eye and the right contacts. I explained the team and where Lukas plays and what number he was wearing and then enjoyed the game.
Unfortunately, that day Lukas got injured early in the game – but feedback on how he had played and even surprisingly how he had warmed up and his body language after he was injured was discussed and a short pep talk was had to pick him up.
James from PROSPKT contacted me to arrange another game which we did and are now working on our agreed actions to improve – they have since had a Scout and Head of Recruitment attend from two clubs in the Championship and Premier League to discuss Lukas with me. They have stayed in contact and continue to monitor his development through me and his online portal.
